WINTERIZATION

Protect your investment, have your sprinkler system winterized properly!  It is a common misconception that any high pressure compressor can be used to winterize irrigation lines.  In reality, it only requires 40-50 psi to winterize a system, however, it also requires 30 - 50 CFM of air volume.  This is where most people get in trouble, as electric air compressors simply do not generate enough air at a time.  

Here in Northern Michigan, if we get a cold night and your system is active, by placing a blanket over vacuum breaker, you will potentially save yourself a costly repair.
